El Bierzo Racing was founded in El Paso, Texas in 2012 by Roberto Quiroga — a former co-driver with a passion for regional motorsport and a vision for building something lasting. What started as a two-car operation with borrowed equipment and weekend mechanics has grown into one of the most respected teams in the Texas Regional Rally Championship.
In fourteen years of competition we have claimed three outright championship titles, appeared on thirty-eight podiums, and helped develop six junior drivers who have gone on to compete at national level. We race because we love it — and we win because we prepare harder than anyone else.
Our home stage — Rally El Bierzo — has become the crown jewel of the regional calendar. Held each September on the roads of El Paso, it draws over 80 crews from across Texas and thousands of passionate spectators.
Founded El Bierzo Racing in 2012 after a 15-year career as a co-driver. Roberto’s strategic vision and deep network in Texas motorsport have shaped every championship the team has won.
Sofia oversees all vehicle preparation and technical strategy. An engineer by training, she joined the team from a national championship setup in 2018 and immediately elevated the technical operation.
With over 20 years wrenching on rally cars, Marco leads the service park crew with precision and authority. He has been with El Bierzo Racing since day one and knows every bolt of every car.
Andrea manages the team’s public profile, media accreditation and digital presence. Her work has grown El Bierzo Racing’s social following tenfold and brought major sponsors to the table.
